   Ruth's House Referral Program

Ruth's House currently assists over 80social services, agencies and churches in the Greater Merrimack Valley & Southern New Hampshire through the unique "Referral Program".   Each family member or individual referred to Ruth's House receives four (4) complete outfits of clothing.   Those agencies, schools and churches that allow us to serve them have found our staff helpful.

The “Referral Program” is the heartbeat of Ruth’s House Inc.  Through this program  each referred client is given four (4) weather-appropriate outfits of clothing four times a year.  Clients are referred by over 80 agencies and churches in the Merrimack Valley & Southern NH.  On an average day, Ruth’s House serves up to five (5) families through dedicated volunteers.  The thrift store is also open to the public as middle income folks are also struggling to make ends meet.  Being a private non-profit agency, the ministry depends on sales and financial support from caring friends and faith-based groups.  The prices are kept low so that people may have a way to provide for themselves and their families.

Referrals are accepted  on Tuesday, Wednesday,  Thursday and Friday from 10:00 to 2:00 p.m.

In order to participate in our referral program, a referral must be given from one of our participating agencies. Please feel free to download our Referral Form by clicking on the "disk" below.

Please call Ida Velez, our Referral Coordinator, with your questions.

Referral Form is formatted in Microsoft Word

(If you don't have Microsoft Word Installed on your system click here to download Microsoft Word Reader to view or print the necessary form)
